Bespoke Displays for Parker Hannifin

Parker Hannifin is the global leader in motion and control technologies. Their products include hydraulic and pneumatical fittings, valves, cylinders and actuators, tubing, hosing, pumps and instrumentation. Their UK distribution network offers unmatched part availability.

Parker Hannifin has a factory located in Crewkerne. The factory produces a range of products for industry. They recently decided to create a new walk-in area of their factory for clients. We were asked to assist with displayed products.

THE BRIEF

Create personalised displays

We were called in to perform a survey and to discuss with Parker Hannifin personalised displays for products. We were asked to come up with an eye-catching walk-in printed display for the factory and to design print work that told the story of hydraulic cartridges. The display would detail where the cartridges are used and the different models available.

In the end, the brief was for multiple print works. It was also decided that bespoke display cabinets would be used with an anodised aluminium finish.

THE SOLUTION

Survey, design, print and installation

During the on-site survey we determined the correct sizes of vinyl for the displays and the correct sizes for the display cabinets. We created a complete brief upon our return to our HQ. Print designs were shared with the client for sign-off. A few tweaks later, and the client was happy. Printing began at our Axminster unit the next day.

Printed Magnetic sheet was used for large images. These have the benefit of being portable, so they can be moved as needed. They were printed on-site at our Axminster unit using state-of-the-art machinery. White cut vinyl was used for the welcome message and for a quote applied to the wall. We sourced Bespoke Select Plus SD2100 display cabinets with Parker Hannifin branding applied along the bottom, these are on wheels, so they can be moved out of the way when roller door needs to be used to move machinery.

Installation took around a day and the client couldn’t be happier. They now have a stunning walk-in area for their clients.
