Installation of Signage
We travelled to Redcar, Northeast England, We were required to sit through the necessary introductory videos to be allowed onto a chemical manufacturing site and wore the correct Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) for fitting signs on this location which were, High-Vis Waistcoats, Hard Hats, Steel Toe-cap boots and goggles. For the Plaxica Job we were required to fix one sign externally, and 3 signs internally. This involved drilling brick and mortar, inserting Rawl Plugs and using Stainless steel sign locators to add a touch off class to the finish of the signage.
The second task was to adhere the printed wall graphics to the doors. This was done by using our permanent self-adhesive vinyl and applying the panels with the overlaps in the correct places so the wall graphic looked like one continuous graphic. This was trimmed by hand on site to allow windows and different levels to look as thought they were part of the printed graphic.
