General

How do I know I'm getting good value?
Clients suspect that the quality may not be as good as our competitors who may charge 3 times as much for exactly the same equipment. There's no magic involved in our low pricing. We keep tight control of our costs and pass our savings onto our clients. If you see cheaper prices ask why!

Do you only supply business?
No - The majority of our customers are cost-conscious businesses, but we also deliver our orders to 100's of government departments, councils, churches, charities, schools, universities, and individuals every month, all buying at trade prices, saving 25-75% on high street prices.

What quality are your graphics?
The very best! Graphics are printed at high resolution, near photo quality (1440-2880 dpi depending on media and application) onto a large variety of media, all carefully selected to produce the best possible prints. Some of our media is so durable it doesn't require laminating. However, we will always recommend laminating paper, vinyl and film to ensure greater durability against moisture, finger marks and scratches (total graphic thickness increases to between 225 and 450 micron depending on product).

What warranty do you offer?
All systems come complete with a full 3-5 Year manufacturers warranty (In the unlikely event that you should require it!) For further details, please call 01297 444665.

Does Creative Solutions out- source its services?
No - Unlike most of our competitors who out-source most or their work (for example, printing and laminating), the majority of our work is completed in-house. This gives us total control over quality and delivery, plus it enables us to keep prices lower by reducing overheads and delivery charges.

Do you export?
Yes we regularly ship order to the USA and Europe. Please contact us on 01297 444665 for a quote.

Delivery How do I order?
Easily and hassle free! You can order by email, telephone or fax.

How soon can I have my goods?
Turn around times vary so please check when ordering. Many standard products are held in stock and we aim to deliver in around 3-4 working days. If you have less time let us know we will try our best to help you.

How are your goods delivered?
We use a variety of couriers depending upon the size, weight and quantity of goods ordered. Our normal couriers are TNT, Initial City Link and Business Post.

Payment Terms

How can I pay?
By Debit card, Credit card, Cheque or BACS transfer. Unless you have an account, payment is required at time of order.

 

Can you invoice our company?
Yes - Institutions, government departments, councils, churches, charities, schools, universities and larger PLC's can be invoiced. In this case, you may order on-line and e-mail or fax a purchase order to 01297 444690. We offer 30-day terms - subject to credit checks. Email or telephone 01297 444665 to open an account (this process normally takes 2-3 weeks to set up).

Can you design it for me?
Yes. We have an in-house Design Studio with fully qualified designers on hand for photography, illustration & typography. We charge £45.00 plus VAT per hour (typically 200-300% less than design studios) and can let you know how long we expect your designs will take to complete. We are also on hand to assist if are unsure of how to supply your artwork. All you have to do is call for free help and advice.

What do I need to supply?
Artwork ready to print (artwork guides), a colour printed visual image, any colour reference you want us to get close to. If we only have the disk we have no idea what we should be printing. If something is missing from your file it will be missing from the finished graphic! If we are completing the designs for you please call to discuss.

MAC or PC?
We prefer MAC but can work from PC. Please call us to discuss your project.

Will I get a proof?
We provide a proof as a matter of course on every job we print. This is to ensure that nothing’s ‘dropped off’ the artwork when we’ve received and opened it. We charge £25.00 plus VAT for a ‘wet proof’ i.e. a small print proof on the substrate ordered and printed on the selected wide-format printer. This will be posted 1st Class for approval.

Can you match colours?
It is not always possible to match pantone colours using CMYK printers. Our printers and media are carefully calibrated but if no colour proof is provided we can only print what is supplied on disk. If you give us a colour reference and we can't get close we will tell you. If colour is critical please supply a reference and ask for a proof.
