Around The World With a Banner Stand

In 2007 internationally acclaimed violinist David Juritz cast off his white bow tie and tails in order to busk his way around the world, raising funds for Musequality, a children's music charity. He left with an empty wallet, a violin, a backpack and one of our Zeta pop up banner stands. 

David travelled through London, Paris, Zurich, Vienna, Venice, Milan, Berlin, Leipzig, Stockholm, Malmo, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Rome, Portsmouth, Kampala, Cape Town, Soweto, Johannesburg, Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore, Buenos Aires, Shanghai, Seoul, Beijing, Rio de Janeiro, Venezuela, Canada and right around the US playing solo Bach. As he went round the cities he ticked off the boxes printed on the banner.

David raised money to set up the charity Musequality, which sponsors music projects for disadvantaged children in developing countries. Musequality now supports projects in Uganda, South Africa, Ghana, Kenya, Congo, India and Thailand. 

To raise funds Musequality now holds an annual World busk and this year they are hoping to smash their own previous world record for the largest coordinated busk in the world - 483 buskers in 105 acts in 44 pitches in 30 towns or cities in 17 countries on seven continents ... and one sea took part.
