Why Upgrade to Fire Retardant Panels?

Health and safety legislation continues to get ever tighter for public buildings. Public buildings fall under the requirements of the ‘Buildings and Fire Precautions Legislation’. They have to meet specific standards relating to the means of escape in the event of a fire. In order to meet the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007, exhibition organisers are now implementing effective fire prevention management strategies.

Many public buildings such as airport terminals and exhibition halls are starting to follow guidelines regarding exhibition stands and displays for health and safety reasons.

How can you offset the legal requirements with the need to display is a public area?

The solution to complying fully with fire regulations is simple. Printed panels can be upgraded to M1/B1/C1 fire rating and EU certification NFPA 701 MEA to MO. Please confirm the number of panels required to be upgraded - multiple order discounts are applicable and will be calculated automatically.

Please be warned that some exhibition organisers (notably in Europe will not allow you to exhibit without presenting fire retardancy certification (supplied as standard with fire retardant panels).

Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007

This act places the burden of responsibility on employers (public and private sector) to ensure that all health and safety issues are managed and implemented.

We strongly recommend that employers don't take risks with items such as banner stands used inside a building. For peace of mind always purchase notice boards that are fully fire retardant.
